02About Styrene-acrylics
Acrylic resins are made from two or more monomers, one of which is always an acrylic acid ester, and are used mainly in paints, nonwovens and adhesives. Styrene-acrylic resins offer good abrasion, moisture and chemical resistance at a lower cost. Their weak point is low resistance to UV light, which causes yellowing, so keep this in mind for light-coloured paints in sunny regions.
