02About Copolymers

Copolymers are made by polymerising two or more monomers, mainly vinyl acetate, acrylic acid esters and vinyl ester of versatic acid, and their final properties are tuned by changing the ratio of soft and hard monomers. They are used mainly in the paint and adhesive industries. When choosing one, consider the ambient temperature at application and whether the paint is for interior or exterior use. Expect abrasion and moisture resistance, high pigment loading and even colour.
