About Pars Polymer Khavaran

Pars Polymer Khavaran company, a leader in the production of various types of water-based resins, is considered one of the largest producers of these types of products in Iran. The gap in the production of specialized water-based resins and the increasing needs of the market led to the gathering of a number of old resin experts and the establishment of Pars Company. Khavaran Polymer was established in the Garmsar industrial area. Although initially the goal was to produce and supply this type of resin in a limited way, but due to the acceptance and support of consumers for this type of attitude in the resin industry, within a period of less than two years, this company It has become one of the largest resin producers in Iran. This prompted the employees of this company to launch the second phase of production in 1385 and to put it into operation and in the field of producing all kinds of vinyl acetate resins (homopolymer and copolymer). , acrylic styrene, pure acrylic, ever-living resins, etc., to become the leader in Iran’s resin industry. In the following years, the production of a variety of additives for the paint and printing industry, as well as specialized resins for special uses in the paint, glue, textile, leather, and building chemical industries, were added to the company’s products.

Our products

Homopolymers

Vinyl acetate homopolymer resins are made from vinyl acetate monomer. Vinyl acetate monomer has a glass transition temperature of 33 degrees Celsius and is very slightly soluble in water. Emulsion resin obtained from vinyl acetate monomer in water is a semi-soft (crisp) resin and the minimum temperature required for film formation will be 18 degrees Celsius. Therefore, consumers of this resin should consider the ambient temperature when using the resin. The applications of this type of resin are mainly in wood glue, packaging glue, carpets, carpets, and fabrics. For use in cases where a softer resin is needed or if it is used at a lower temperature. The softening power added to this resin. Because vinyl acetate monomer has a relatively lower price, it is widely used. Vinyl acetate homopolymer has good light resistance and softens easily and does not oxidize easily. But it has relatively weak water and chemical resistance

Copolymers based on vinyl acetate

Copolymers are obtained from the polymerization of two or more monomers. The monomers used in the paint industry mainly include vinyl acetate monomer, acrylic acid esters and versatic acid vinyl ester. In copolymers, the final properties of the copolymer can be influenced by increasing or decreasing soft or brittle monomers. When using copolymer, the temperature of the environment where the resin is used must be taken into account and according to the season and temperature, choose a resin that can form a quality film at that temperature. The main application of vinyl acetate copolymers is in the paint and adhesive industries, and depending on whether the paint is used inside the building or on the outside, the choice will be different. The expected properties of vinyl acetate copolymers are abrasion and moisture resistance, as well as high pigmentation and uniformity of color during use. Copolymers manufactured by Pars Polymer Company are always subjected to various tests in the equipped laboratories of this company so that the consumer can use them with peace of mind.

Copolymers based on styren

Acrylic resins are made of two or more monomers, one of which must be acrylic acid ester. The resins of this family are mainly used in dyeing industries, types of non-woven fabrics, adhesives, etc. High abrasion and moisture resistance is expected from these types of resins. Pure acrylic resins have higher quality and more flexible properties and show better resistance to yellowing and chalking than styrene acrylic resins, but due to the higher price that Acrylic monomers compared to styrene, the consumption of these types of resins is much less than styrene acrylic resins. Styrene acrylic resins have good abrasion, moisture and chemical resistance, and due to their lower price, they have found a higher consumption in the paint industry. The only weakness of these resins is their low resistance to ultraviolet rays, which affects the polymer chains and turns yellow. It happens that in areas that have direct sunlight, it should be considered about bright colors. Acrylic resins with a special formulation for non-woven fabrics are foreseen, which can be produced and used soft or brittle.

Pressure sensitive adhesives

Ever-living adhesives refer to adhesives that maintain their adhesion at ambient temperature, and the final film obtained from the resin is always adhesive at ambient temperature.

The monomers used in the production of these resins have a very low glass transition temperature and are used in tape adhesives. The thickness used when applying the resin is very important in the final adhesion.
